Silent Range Estate Merlot 2008

Notes:

The 2008 Merlot, opens in a deep crimson cloak with scarlet hues and shows a tantalizing, violet perfumed nose with hints of chocolate, spices and mint. The palate entices with mouth-filling luscious raisined fruits with hints of chocolate and spice. The full palate is balanced with mouth-watering acidity and firm tannins, a certain indicator that the wine will age supremely well for up to 10 years. As in all traditional winemaking some sediment may be found.

Silent Range Estate Shiraz 2008

Notes:

A vibrant deep crimson with red hues defines the tone of the 2008 Shiraz. Aromas of blackberry and blackcurrant with a hint of savoury spices tease the taster to delve deeper. The silken palate begins with blackberries and blueberries and develops with savoury notes and firm powdery tannins, indicating its future longevity. The wine can be cellared for up to 10 years and as in all traditional winemaking, some sediment may be found.

Silent Range Estate Merlot 2006

Notes:
Complex layered fruit, spice, chocolate and cedar notes are the hallmark aromas of the 2006 Merlot. The palate is up-front and generous, with a mouthful of intense dark berry fruit, wrapped in velvety chocolate spices. Finishing with fine drying tannins, the result is a winning combination for a very drinkable wine. Drink now to 2014.

Silent Range Estate Shiraz 2006

Notes:
Powerful, dark and brooding, the 2006 Shiraz opens up with aromas of Maraschino cherry, blackberry and chocolate with a hint of liquorice and vanilla. A full bodied wine with some chary oak and good length, finishing with fine tannins. Drink now to 2014.
A brilliant wine to serve with seared kangaroo fillet and cranberry sauce or other game meats. Regardless of the occasion, always enjoy it with friends.

Silent Range Estate Shiraz 2005

Notes:
With delicious raspberry, black berry and black fruit characters, this medium bodied Shiraz has a berry fruit palate with white pepper notes and fantastic length. The wine making process has produced a wine of lovely fine tannins making it very approachable early in its life.

Silent Range Estate Shiraz 2004

Notes: Colour is quite deep in the centre with youthful purple edges. The nose has a sweet, almost perfumed ripe Shiraz aroma of macerated plum and berries. The palate is quite soft and shows some attractive spice as well as more of the ripe fruit flavours seen on the nose. Fresh and fruit driven now it is best drunk early while the Shiraz fruit remains upfront.

Our Sweet Georgia Fortified Wine takes its name from our daughter whose wonderful spirit is akin to the essence of this enjoyable drop.
